June 18, 2019 – Highway 99

I took off for the day expecting to capture some landscape and sunset shots, but the only one that ended up working out was this random photo I took on the side of Highway 99 close to the Highway 1 junction near Cache Creek. I’ve always liked coming across old buildings sitting in nature but like the one in this photo, they tend to be on private property. Luckily this one is easily visible from the road and I took this probably within 10 feet from the pavement. This was taken at f/11 with my 35mm lens which is becoming one of my favorite lenses.
